Nice pics! Too bad about the sway bar bracket, maybe it's a sign from your truck that it wants you to leave it off so it can fully stretch it's legs!

Try driving around with it for awhile and see how it feels, I don't miss mine at all

Nice report, I was up there in a rain a few months ago- fun spot. Just with some confusing trails to get back down IMO.

Thanks, I know right? The truck's telling me something. I've actually been driving without it all day today. The rear end felt quite soft and boat like on high speed on-ramps but nothing I couldn't handle. It's just getting used to the change in driving dynamics. I might just leave it off permanently.

Ouch! Glad to hear the Billys are working out for you. I'll be upgrading to Bilsteins soon enough.

It's well worth the upgrade even with the 4600's. You'll love them. Less clunkiness.

Thanks! I had to take mental note on the way up with the handful of auxiliary roads off of the main ones. I'm going to have to make another trip up there!

Side note: what size spare are you running?

It should be the stock size. 245/70? I think. I'll be putting on an A/T tire once these BFG's wear out.

Thanks, I think the '02 + Xterras have a larger space, they have larger stock tires anyways.

Rust does a body good.
Don't bother fixing that swaybar. It will keep going bad and it doesn't do much.

that's right. Well I hope to get the tire out from under there and slap it outside for easier access.

I think I just might end up doing that considering I barely did anything tough and it broke that easily. I'll keep it in the garage for now. :)

The front will wear out It's bushings pretty quickly too. It does far more than the rear. I left both off of my wife's rig but it might be more body roll than you'd like.

When I inspected the front bushings, they indeed need a replacement. Luckily they haven't busted out yet!

I can already feel the body roll from the lack of a rear sway bar. Noticeable but not unmanageable.

Well said.

Off topic, from earlier convo LED lightbars are the way to go. The flood beam not only uses way less wattage but throws further and is brighter than HID's or any old school light.

I was debating the LED bar options but right now the production models are way too expensive. The wattage/output ratio is unmatched though. I might just plop a bar right across the top of my light cage in addition to what's already up there for a serious flood option. But for now, this halogen/HID combo will suffice.
