The leading edge there is where my tires really grab onto the sheet metal. Mostly when I get denied on steep climbs... I thought I fixed it by pushing the sheetmetal forwards, but it still rubbed . Haven't been wheeling since.

Yah I plan on rolling the fender lip ala "hella-flush" style. haha Although I'd really like to ad 1" wheel spacers in the rear to level out the width of the stance a little. If I do that... I want be going inside the fenders - ever.

Damn you.

Let me know if you want me to pick them up for you or something. More than willing to lend a hand

Are you going to roll and poke the legacy too?

Maybe slightly. Keeping the Legcay pretty mild. STi BBS 18x8.5" wheels in the spring but I have to run spacers to convert the bolt pattern.... the extra width may require me to roll the fenders but I want it pretty tame.

On a more personal note, with the above said and my industry of employment in the ****ter right now, the LT is out. Back and forth I go again but for good reason this time. We took company wide salary reductions late last week and honestly people are dropping like flies with oil prices being nearly %60 lower than they were only a few months ago. I consider my position quite safe but the $$$$ for the LT is going to be put on hold and I'll more be working with what I already have. I can still always make the switch at a later date. Especially after my experiences this weekend, I think the front end is the least of my concerns. Short terms plans are to get the gears and lockers done and then start thinking about how to address the rear suspension.

I am in the same boat as you re: confidence in employment and vehicle mod deferral. Current focus is to reduce debt as much as possible while the paycheck is still coming. Scary times in the oil patch for sure!

I'm really enjoying watching this build and look forward to things getting better so you can continue to improve your truck. Good luck!

Thanks and to you as well! Oil is over $50 again as of today, but I'm not holding my breath...

You heard that percy's seal-for-good header gaskets and rem-flex collector gaskets are the way to go?

Good to know. I have done ZERO research other than how much of a PITA these are to install. Good thing one of my best friends is a Toyota Tech... I wonder if he knows what's coming? haha

Hard to install? My old coworker a Toyota tech can do them in like an hour per side. I don't think they are hard from looking at it. I never had to replace one tho.

What's the reason for low gas prices?

Haha, there is no way they can be done in an hour per side. It takes a minute when you have to move a motor mount.
