I've heard that Roadless has quality gear, but looking at the dash mount kit...

Ok, that has nothing to do with this thread. I see what you mean, though everyone that has that unit swears by it. I guess its a leap of faith.

Depends on your point of view I guess. Seeing the lack of quality in one product by Roadless leads me to not consider them for any of their other products.
But from the description of the wireless control, maybe they've wised up.

Of course, for a wired solution one can make something much nicer for less money just going to a good electronics store.

I just ordered one. My handheld is starting to age a little and would be better suited as a backup at this point and this wireless unit is about the same price as a replacement. I'll probably put an inline kill switch in mine as well.
