Root rack that works with SOT

I should have figured out what SOT meant, I've been spending some time testing things for Overland Outfitters on SOT equipped JL's lately. They were wondering if some of their roll bar accessories would work properly with the SOT so they asked me to go to my local dealer to try a few of their products...

And how to install their Saddlebags with the SOT side panels that don't use the hardtop bolts that the Saddlebags usually attach to.

Mission accomplished, I reported back that their products work fine with the SOT and I wrote an instruction sheet for them on how to install the Saddlebags in a SOT Jeep.

And that's about all I know about SOT, sorry I don't know anything about roof (oops, root) racks for them. :)

Anyone have any suggestions? Ideally it would be great if it could handle an Rtt and be removed easily!

I'm thinking these are two extremely incompatible things. My suggestion is to find a hard top, maybe used, and add a permanent rack to that. Then it's easy to just swap roofs.

Do those saddle bags still allow the side windows to be removed without taking off the saddlebags first?
I haven't tried that but I think it would be easier to remove the side window if the saddlebag was unizpped from the side window first.
