RotopaX Gas Can Mounting Pictures (please)

Have mine mounted directly to the rear camper wall with larger hardware, backing plates and washers.
It's held up well over the past year of off road abuse. Elevation changes worry me more as the tank expands and contracts - I'm constantly manually venting it.

I know what you mean about the Rotopax expanding, once you take them off in high heat or elevation, it's almost impossible to get them back on unless you completely empty them.

I'd be interested in seeing pictures your mounting solution. What kind of brackets, plates, etc.

This the setup I have on my Porsche Cayenne.

mep1811, any pics of the Rotopax in the FJ-40? Thinking about using those for some fuel storage, and wondering what others have done. I have a 1977 40 series, too.

RotoPax

My FJ40 uses the more practical 5 gallon jerry can.

2-gallon mounted on the inside of my rear swing-out. Trying to find room for more...

The raised print on the rotopax tanks almost acts like velcro against the Bedrug. I may have to further secure for severe four wheeling, but they have stayed in place for 500 miles of road travel so far.
Getting ready for a month long trip to Utah.

6 gallons fuel & two of water.
Enough to get me outta trouble.
Also bought two extra water spouts to get rid of those stupid effing Eco friendly spouts. Never have I ever ever had a set of cans with those spouts that didn't hang up or leak or spill all over the place. Screw CARB & everyone involved in their bright ideas. I like simple & proven.

I will be using vector off roads rear tire roto pax mount with 8 gallons of gas. I think that can get me anywhere between gas stations.
