I just spoke with Scott this morning and they made it all the way through the trail without any issues. A successful trip all around, they had a blast!:safari-rig:

The film crew and Scott are in The White Mtns right now with the Earthroamer folks. They should be back around Tuesday or so. Patience grasshopper :coffee:

Wow what an adventure! * 8 hours of HD footage 1500 photos* on the Rubicon trail alone...

I was thrilled to be apart of this major Rubicon trail accomplishment with EarthRoamer and Expeditions West, while experiencing two of the best driver/spotters - Scott and Chris you rock!

Just back starting the HDV log and capture process and sorting the photos :wings:

Title of my blog will be "I walked the dusty Rubicon Trail" :)

Here are a few fun shots. Nothing in Overland Journal, but some other good pubs (will advise once we get everything settled). Photo credit: Bill Swails, EarthRoamer.

XV-JP shots to come soon.

Very nice guys!

Thanks for the bones!

That is got to be the most challenging trail the EW Tacoma has ever seen???

Looks like you guys had your work cut out for ya on those trails!!!!

What psi where you running in your tires Scott?

How many times did you have to get pulled or winched?

Thanks for the pictures!

:)

1. Yes, on the whole. The truck has completed more difficult obstacles, but the Rubicon is unrelenting.

2. A LOT of work

3. 18 PSI front, 22 PSI rear

4. The Tacoma was never pulled and never winched. It actually had an easy time of it. Chris did a great job driving.

No dings, no damage, no mechanical or other failures.
