seat covers

not sure if this hasbeen covered before. if so, my apologies. I am looking for recomendations for seat covers for my 01 t4r. something that will protect the seats from the wet and muddy dog, along with my son throwing stuff around in the back. the back seat cover will need to have the cut outs for the seatbelts. not looking to go crazy with the price, but something of good quality (is that an oxymoron?). Please suggest away!

i had the wet okole's in my wrangler. they were very nice but faded after about 5 years worth of use. of course, the top was always off of the wrangler, so that may have had something to do with it.

They do look and fit great. Consider differently if you live in a warm climate, your back sweat has nowhere to go when it hits the neoprene..

I'll have to look in to these for my JK. I've been looking around and have no desire for neoprene and like the idea of them being a small company.

I bought the Marathon covers for my dad's Mega Cab and they fit perfectly, fit tightly and looked very good. They are made from Cordura, so they are more resistant to abrasion than the Wet Okoles.

Marathon seat covers all the way! have had them for 3 years and look great, fit snug, comfortable in the heat, and wash up great after they get dirty - just throw them in the wash.

I have marathon seat covers all the way around in my 09 tacoma. They are some good covers! Expensive but good!

Consider differently if you live in a warm climate, your back sweat has nowhere to go when it hits the neoprene..

took mine off and sold them after 2 months for that reason.They were worse than my BMW with black leather seats, not only did they get hot and trap sweat, they stayed hot well after the rest of the truck cooled down. I'll just wear my wetsuit in the truck next time I want that feeling.

Are you talking back seat or front? For my front seats I have some cheapie "universal fit" seat covers in Army digital camouflage that I picked up for about $15 a piece. They don't fit all that great but they protect the seat, which is all I really care about.

As for the back seat, I travel with the dog a lot and I get tired of vacuuming out dog hair, so I just throw an old sheet over the seat. It's not fancy but it works. Then every couple of weeks I take the sheet out, shake it off, and throw it in the laundry.

this worked great until I put Sam's car seat back there. I have a bunch of old blankets i picked up in Mexico a long time ago and they worked perfectly. I am looking to keep a more permanent solution in the back as i don't want to keep taking the car seat in and out.
