Area52 - incredible-looking truck! There's something about that color that I love every time I see pics of your Tacoma.

One thing you might want to consider is leaving a little larger gap between the bumper and the fenders. Looking at this pic, it looks like it's around 1/8" or less, and if I remember correctly (it's been a few months since I installed mine), ARB recommends something like 5/8"-3/4" of gap to avoid having contact between the bumper and the fenders when the frame flexes.

Thanks,

I'm planning on adjusting it, as it's rubbing on the drivers side.

heres my 88, bought the truck and cut the frame off at the doors, custom frame is 3/16th thick 2x5 box steal with full size 37 spare in the frame rails like a factory truck. first pics a trail clean we did to show the latter rack, next is my custom camper top, all material from a pop up camper. goes on in about ten minutes totally water tight and goes 65 down the road no problem. after that i flipped it however. coming to the end of rebuilding it now with a new cab, solid axle swap with 5.29 gears locked front and rear, dual cases with 4.7 rear gear and tripple sticks, on 37s now, also only 34 miles since motor rebuild. planning a trip cross country this coming may should be around a two month trip

almost forgot heres the current on 37s, im buying a RTT also and debating on rebuilding the latter racks the way they were and mounting it on the front over the cab or building the rack more similar to other expo rigs with the tent behind the cab lower
