hi-

I just found this site yesterday- very cool so hello everyone.
here are some opics of my truck- I wish I had some cool ones of it 4x4ing but I am always driving, so I can't snap the shots
this truck is bone stock except for the rims/tire and a stereo
I added a wildernet and it became my camper- it gets lots of attenetion in the camp sites.

Great truck mate!!!! I love the shell an these are my favorite body style Toyotas not to mention they're the most heavy Duty Hillux's they ever made. I was really dreaming of bringing a Solid Axle Quad-Cab home from Australia they were everywherre and are SO AWESOME!!!!!

Anyway, love the truck and by all means WELCOME mate...

This 84 i hav had for many years, it had a tired old 350 chevy in it mated to a th 350 through a tck adapter to the stock drive line. I drove it like that for 3 or 4 years as a daily driver, then got this bright idea to race it. Went ahead and did a quick paint job ant the shop i was working at( one day service ) and went ahead and built a cage in the cab.

after racing it at charlotte, i decided it's street days were over, and pulled out the tired v8 - th350 combo, the interior, seats, firewall, etc then moved in a fresh mill, and moved it back 18" to keep the puleys reaward of the front axle, then lowering the motor to keep it fast and stable. Then built headers to go above the frame, but below the body and follow the rocker.

tried a few doghouse configurations, shortened the rear drive line, and pushed it aside. I sits in the same form of finish now. paint has faded due to years of sun, but it has been brought out of the weeds and into the shop about 12 monthas ago. it stares at me every day wanting to be finished and beat on !

love the look of this runner! looks awesome with the 80 wheels, and very nice setup! you running a body lift at all to fit those 315's?

Hard to tell unless he had brackets made for the front bumper to compensate for the BL, and the 305 Hankook MT is a 33.1 X 12.2 not a 35" the 315 however is still only 34.8.

Aaron

Remember to look at you specific tire chart because the written size isn't always true, case in point the Interco SSR in a 285/75 measures 33.9" dia.
