I have talked to Chris multiple times over the course of 3 weeks asking him questions about his fenders and trailer handle. Needless to say, every time I call him....he answers the phone and remembers who I am. He even called me back today. Anyways, I don't think he is a shady guy trying to take people's money. I placed an order today, so I guess time will tell. So far my experience has been positive. I'll keep you guys posted on my fenders, he said I'd get them by next week.

Talked to Chris yesterday.

Said he sent my $ for my Safari down to Autohome last week, so I'm waiting to hear from Autohome that's it's come in and can be shipped. It has been 3 weeks though since I was first became aware that my RTT was there since the beginning of May, has been awaiting payment, was told that my check was on the way.

I also urged him to respond here and let people know what's going on. I feel more than confident that Most people here are good folks that don't want to see someone get hurt or fail in life and that a little explanation from him would go a very long way. He's aware of the thread and knows my opinion that this is bad business for him.

I truly believe he's a good guy with honest intentions that is having a frazzled time keeping up with deadlines. No doubt, it's a superior product and I wish him the best.

And MUY GRANDE: nobody has said in 11 pages of this thread that "he is a shady guy trying to take people's money". This has been one of the more classy threads regarding customer issues with a business and I hope it stays that way.

Hey just got an email from Chris, he was asking for the shipping address for the trailer so I hope that we are getting closer.

Any updates? I'm hoping that you have not posted the good news of the delivery of your trailer because you and your wife have been out enjoying it. And that you will be posting pictures of you trailer and rig in the "Post a Pic of Your Rig And Trailer" thread.

Their trailer is going to be leaving very soon, we had to change a couple items.

I guess my intuitions weren't too far off base after all...

Chris,

Everyone wants to see you come out of this on top, stronger, bigger, better...no one wants anyone to fail, especially a small hardworking business such as yours. Small business' are the backbone of this great nation. It's good news to hear you're catching up, and I'm sure I can speak for a lot folks wishing you the best of luck moving forward.

Well reading this long and sometimes confusing thread by folks so more trusting then I , it's nice to learn that Joe has is trailer. It's a sad thing he had to miss planned events, but hey....
It appears to nice. Maybe Joe could celebrate by posting a detailed look at his prize so that readers could share in his relief.

Finally, after 9 months

This is Joe, I want to thank my friend (snowhood) for starting this thread and other forum members who sent me emails that helped me get my trailer.
In summary, I ordered it October, 12 2011 and got it yesterday, June 27th, 9 months later.

Originally, Sierra4x4trailers promised delivery before Christmas or by mid-January at the latest. After that, I was promised delivery about every 7 to 10 days with actual delivery dates set up right up to Memorial day weekend. Each time Chris told me he would deliver it personally or have it shipped. Each time I waited at home for the trailer and every time I got no calls and no trailer. I just couldn’t believe it. I would then call and we worked out one delivery date after another. When the Memorial day weekend promise fell through, I had enough and felt powerless and betrayed. I asked my friend (snowhood) for help at this point so he started this thread.

I called Chris on 6/19/12 to get an update on deliveries and he promised to deliver my trailer 6/22/12 or would ship it out that day. Same old Chris. Naturally, I didn’t expect delivery because Chris had let me down for the past 6 months.

What Chris didn’t know was that a fellow forum member emailed me a link to another forum site to consider. I didn’t want to start a new thread myself so I told my friend that if I don’t get my trailer by Sunday, that I would let him know. The trailer didn’t come so on 6/24 I gave him the link to the other forum. He said he would post a new thread that day. Here is the link.

When I got the trailer yesterday, it did not have a roof rack that I ordered. It was back in December 2011, that I called Chris and told him to install a roof rack and offered to pay for it then. He said he would install the rack and settle up with me when he delivers the trailer. He must have forgot to install the rack. He never sent me a picture so I did not have the chance to say, what about the rack, I don’t see it on the trailer.

Chris wants me to return the warranty registration form saying I have read the owners information packet, however no information packet was included. He must have forgot about the owner’s information packet to.

Anyway, I ask my friend (snowhood) to post this for me on the thread he started on the other forum since he is already a member and I am not.

I guess things happen for a reason, but this has been a crazy experience for me. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great summer no matter what you do.

Really. After what you have put Joe and his family through? I am in disbelief that you have taken the time to scold Snowhood for exposing this sorry situation.

I was just thinking you were getting your act together and that you learned something from this.

Clearly you have supporters here, and at the risk of offending my fellow forum member; it is time for apologies from you, not accusations.

I looked through my e-mails and could not find any thing on the added roof rack, so it must have been added over the phone, so i will just drop ship one to Joe.

And Fresno to be honest I really dont care what you have say. I know that this may be bad to say, but you have no buisness dealings with us, but you like to be the big internet super hero and jump in and start issues. Not just in this sutuation but on other topics on this forum as well.
There are a ton of other members that pm me and call me about your post.
