What's going on everyone! After owning the trailer for 8 years I've started actually using it! I currently have a CVT tent on top, Overland Vehicle Systems 270 degree awning, ARB fridge, Habitat lift struts, Habitat rack, dry box, ARK tongue lift/tire setup, 11 lb propane tank and mount and Smittybilt generator. I have a plethora of items waiting to be installed, but will be taking everything off it to sand it down and raptor line it black. Underneath will be undercoated for protection as well. The following items are waiting to be installed right after:
Habitat onboard water system
Dometic propane burner and dometic sink
Waterport 8 gallon passenger side mount
Dirtworks tire carrier
Triton on demand hot water system
Shower
Renogy Solar panels (2x @20 watt each to tend on board battery)
Water tank level system
LevelmatePro leveling system
As for the electronics, I do need some assistance with wiring the way I envision it.
This is what I have:
Noco Genius 1 bank 10 amp charger
2x Renogy 12 volt 100AH lithium batteries
Renogy DC to DC charge controller with MPPT
Renogy 1000 Watt inverter
12 channel 12 volt controller for all 12 volts items on the trailer
Renogy BT2 monitor
Necessary battery disconnects
While driving, the Renogy DC to DC controller will keep the batteries topped off. When stationary I can switch to solar from their button. As for shore power, that will power the charge controller, and maintain a 10 amp charging cycle on the batteries. I would assume that a disconnect should be wired on the DC side of all charging lines to the batteries so as to not over load them with charging amps. 1 for the NOCO charger DC side, one for the Renogy DC to DC vehicle alternator side correct? The nice thing about the Renogy DC to DC charging controller is it is either vahicle charging OR solar charging.
