Just got the frame reinforcement kit from smittybilt for the trailer. Didn't come with any instructions. Would anyone who got the kit mind sending me instructions if you have them?

I thought I'd post the pictures here as well.
A couple of blocks of aluminum sammiched together.
Bolted on to the awning arms. The RTT window awning is now reaching over the ARB 2500x2500 awning and rain will not fall in the gap.
The RTT window poles will be inserted in the hole in the aluminum block.

Finally figured out how I wanted to mount the basket. You could off course just bolt it to the top of the box, but imho there was simply too much flex in that top panel.
I took a couple of 1 inch square tubing and drilled 3 through holes for a 5/16 carriage bolt to protrude. Then matched the pattern for the basket mount and welded M6 flange nuts in place. Gave it a coat of Satin rustoleum, and then sat it in a bed of permatex super black adhesive. That bolted up real nice and added quite a lot of stiffness on the roof of the box.

Then I thought that while I was in there, I would like to make the RTT cross bars more rigid. The front (picture right) was about 5mm lower than the rest, and the only way to remedy that was to weld a couple of 1.5x1.5 inch square tubing running length of the trailer. That made quite a big difference, and it took up the 5mm sag the Tepui XL tent had develloped.






Then I sat the basket down in a dap of Permatex ultra black silicone adhesive. That will minimize the rattle as we off road the trailer. Kinda like a poly bushing.

A 35 QT Yeti cooler just fits in the generator drawer. Another 1/8 of an inch and it would be too wide.

I added some mudflaps. I used some spare 1 x 1 aluminum square to space out the tube behind the fender.
