Smittybilt Scout Trailer Reviews?

I if you poke around on here and net little bit there are couple Australian guys with small company called Drifta. And they make some really cool fold out kitchen that start out about the size of a trunk and they have some great ideas

Welp 2 days later it's all together ! Very happy at quality shocked actually. Total ***** getting it out of that square tubing frame but I did it by myself. Trying to post few pics but having probs. I'll work on that and try to post

Went camping last night at the off road park and had to strech my legs a little on the way out. 20171001_111209-2016x1512_0.jpg
The trailer preformed great and has made camping so much easier. Here's my little helpers

Took ours out to the local state park for a quick test run. Gotta say I am really impressed with this trailer! campout.jpg

For those with Toyotas 6 lug patterned wheels, do you see any issue with using adapters with this trailer? My intent initially was to use them to match the truck but 5x5 to 6x5.5 adapters are 2" thick. Not sure if this will take the suspension too far out of spec.

I was able to align my trailer (caster and camber) without any issues using spacers... its just going up and down so I'm not sure what could be out of spec.

Great thanks Silverback07! I've only been able to find two piece adapters for twice the price.

Partner stove

Update on stove vs. drawer situation. I got my Partner 18" stove delivered recently; the good news is it came with hose fitting on the right side (without me asking for it - strange because most pictures online show the stove with left side fitting) so it fits well in the drawer with hose attached below the drawer's locking mechanism. The bad news is that the stove does not fit with cover opened as it adds another 1-1.5 inch to the width. I figured it will fit if I elevate the stove up by about .5 inch on some sort of legs to clear the little ledge at the front opening of the drawer. It's never that easy...
Also - after long thinking process I gave up on any permanent attachment points for my Rotopax gas containers and simply strapped them to the side of the trailer. They seem to fit like a glove. I don't think the weight on the fender is an issue (I know, it says don't step on it ) as both containers full of gas are about 70 lbs and some of that weight is supported by the straps.
Cheers

Good to know that the 18" Partner drops right in! Me, I think I'd like the hose on the left and drill a 1 1/2" hole in the drawer back that lines up. Try setting the stove on a 1/2" of plywood. As for the Rotopax, can you remove those detail panels on the sides, between the risers. and attach the Rotopax mounts to those?
