They don't have near the range of my lightforce 170s even with the 100w bulbs I put in that I just happened to have sitting around, but fill in the pattern nicely.

P.S. I wire up all my lights to the truck high beams. Its way to slow to try and dim them otherwise if someones coming around a corner. Trucks highs are so crappy you can't even tell they're on when these lights are on.

The IPF's are definitely better than the hellas in quality. The hella's, well; you can tell it's only a $40 light. On my '92 I have the IPF 968's and the Hella 500's and the light output is great. Just the IPF's alone I'm not impressed with, and just the Hellas alone I'm not impressed with, but pair the two together, and they have a good light output.

I have two paris of Hella 500s that are new but the boxes were opened sitting on the shelf in the garage. I'm not going to use them. $40/pair plus actual shipping (no box charges or silliness, you pay what I pay).

Mmmm, any more lights floating around in people's garages??? I'd like a set of good lights for my WAAG grille guard, at least 6" diameters... preferably 9"....

Unfortuinately, I don't think we have any of those stores in this state. On the slight chance that we do, they'll probably be on the other side of the state :(
