Snow Peak Addiction

You ever make any progress with Blue Ridge OG?

Not yet, but I've not pressed in earnest yet. Been traveling and enjoying my kit! After a trip out west and back though, I am going to start on it... Needs more protection in the back of my rig.

Has anyone heard from Yuma Desert Rat? Sure wish someone would start making straps again!

Howdy everyone! Sorry I've been gone for so long. I've been reading back through this thread to catch up. looks like I've missed out on quite a bit... Unfortunately I haven't had time to make anything al all this year. Buying a new house, moving, new job, new dog.... no more access to a sewing machine.... you name it. I'll hopefully get a new machine and start ramping things up again at the end of the year.... we shall see...

Maybe you can get BROG to take over your strap work!

Back from holiday on the French coast (Bretagne). Of course half the luggage was SP gear :sombrero:

I got a snow peak giga li this past christmas and trying to get it t run off a small 5lb propane problem but having problems. Here is the setup...

snow_peak_Giga_Li_Setup - 1.jpg

I bought an adapter and a hose with the proper fittings to got from propane tank to the fitting on the small camping canisters.

This setup works fine from one of the green camping bottles, but when I try it with my 5# propane tank starts off fine and I can light the stove, then it just fizzles out.

I have had this little bottle topped off twice, I tried the #5 propane bottle with my propane grill twice, it works fine. Just not the snow peak giga li or amy webber baby q.

Is there some kind of adapter I am missing?

Just missed the chance to take it on this summer holiday, but met my friend from Japan today who brought me some more IGT additions :sombrero:
Domo arigato Yuko-san

New additions are the hanging rack and side bracket for the box insert (on the left in the pic). All set for my next holiday.

You need an inline adjustable regulator. I forget what setting you need, but spressomon used to make and sell an adaptor with instructions. I'm sure a PM to him or some searching on here will get you cooking in no time.

Agreed!
the tiny plus side of our addiction is that SP gear can be hard to acquire... so that helps a bit with buying out the entire catalogue of goodies ;)

Agreed. I go to the NYC store so I can touch and feel the stuff. I would of bought out the whole store but the other half said no............. Next time I go in I will need to hit up Best Made Co also

Aloha,
I have a brand new TemboTusk Skottle IGT insert for sale. Brand new and unused. Free shipping within CONUS.
Thanks for looking and feel free to ask any questions OBO. This post is also in the for sale section. This is the revised version that fits in the 3 and 4 space IGT frames. I have the original which i only use in a 2 frame unit so this can go to someone else here.
