Do you have some pads that can protect the table from the IGT?

I don't. The leg holder does a pretty good job at keeping the table from contacting the IGT. The flap strap I make for securing the second table to the IGT has a layer of material that does the same. Some of my past customers have supplemented this with self sticking felt pads, which are available at Lowes, Home Depot and pretty much any other similar store.

cool mod might be to sew a long chunk of the fussy side of the velcro onto the outside of those straps ? give it extra cushion and one could easily then have a pad with the other side of the velcro to keep it stuck on :)

A few days ago I stopped by the flagship SP store in Portland to see if they had any goodies in stock (They often have products in store that show out of stock on the website). I was talking to the employee of the store about some items like the CK-127 IGT table side trays that were on display, but not in stock, and she told me that REI now has an exclusive deal to sell all IGT items in the USA for one year. That means that SP will no longer be selling anything IGT related. This may be a great thing for people wanting to fill in a few items in the set, as I hope REI will be doing something to make sure they have inventory. But who knows...

Interesting turn of events. I had an extension table with hooks on order from Back Country Gear since May. They sent me an email a couple weeks ago saying that they were no longer selling IGT and returned my money. This certainly explains a bit of what happened.

Does anyone have any more clarity on this? Is it just the IGT product line or does this exclusivity extend to other products, as well?

I did check the Snow Peak USA site and IGT is no longer available from them.

I fear the REI deal might be a bad thing though ? they often pick a few things and leave out the rest ?
unless the deal was to bring in everything cause at least SP Portland would order stuff for people

On a brighter note....

I've been sewing all day and had to revisit the ol drawing board a few times.... BUT I got the new carry handle perfected.
The second generation carry handle is made of solid oak, burgundy and coyote webbing and finished bronze tacks. It's a MUCH more complicated and time and materials intensive design but SO much nice IMHO.

Thanks for the compliment!

Funny you mention that.... I've been working on that for about a month now. Should be coming together soon. Labels, patches and stickers.
