Hey Honu,
Snow Peak is opening there first Snow Peak store here in the states at the US HQ in Portland, Oregon. The store will be opening in September and will feature all the Snow Peak items. Also if there are items you are looking for we can special order anything.

You guys are so lucky

I went to pick up some gear from the Snow Peak European headoffice in Germany (Ratingen) a couple of years ago (as I said almost no one sells it in the Netherlands and no one has any real stock). Walking into a warehouse filled with Snow Peak items made my knees turn to jelly. I left the building with a large IGT setup and a big smile on my face :wings:

I think I went over board 3 IGT setups a Land Lock tent and planned on calling Ho up to order some more IGT stuff :)
my camp espresso setup is pretty cool now to with some titanium stuff 2 thermo cups titanium 700 pot and its own titanium stove :) but at home I have a Elektra A3 so kinda overboard at home to !

I need to go broke so I quit buying stuff that will be my only cure :)

Snow Peak will have a grand opening celebration when we open up our new store. Once the Grand Opening Date is set I'll let you all know. But we would love to host you all hear and maybe a group can caravan up here.

All the Asian Japanese Chinese and Korean pics and videos of the SP get togethers make me think my kids would be tripping and running into guy lines all the time :)
Always seems to be in big fields also ?

Fun to see that much SP stuff being used though

Fun to see pics on this blog

Would be fun to do some of the stuff I have seen over in Japan such as cooking going on things for the kids small prizes etc... and have some special edition things available etc...

That is a great set up. Does the Partner Steel stove fit perfectly as a two space IGT insert? I can't tell from your pictures.

Thanks,
Greg

Edit: sorry, thought you were talking about the GS220, but this is a different stove

Here is my stove in the 4 unit IGT with the BBQ box and stainless inserts.

its a 1.5 inch smaller than a two space since one space is about 9.75 inches the Partner steel is 18 inches so their is a small gap on each side. Not a big deal
if you look at that top pic again the space you see is in a 4 space IGT and the two items on the right are pushed all the way over !
so that space to the left of the PS stove is about 1 inch and the space to the right is about 1/2 inch not to bad at all !

I bet they would make one custom but to me the small gap is not a big deal
hope that helps

I have the same issue with my charcoal box lid ? no where to put it ! working on two ideas to have a place to put it !
here the ground is gnarly dusty dirt not nice grass :) and we have a dog !!!! same reason I cant hang tongs with her loose !

one of the ideas came from this pic
if you notice he extended the bar down and made a place to put the stainless lids he made ! which is the one idea I like quite a bit !
the other was a shelf below where I can put lids or whatever I want

the guy has made some cool stuff for SP fans though ! love the idea of the baskets he made that fit into the IGT then you can put a board above them etc..

I wonder if Partner Steel would make a custom "perfect fit" (i.e. 2 unit) stove for the IGT at a price similar to their other units--one with a lid that could be detached for the IGT and attached when used separately. If they would, would anyone here be interested? ...and if so, could we get together enough people for a group deal? Would there be any special features that people would suggest in order to make this the ideal set-up?
