my thing was had to be flush and not above it which to me is the power of the IGT and stock wind screen etc..
also the top not being attached works awesome as a tray etc..
I might be selling my IGT setup though
I love it but kinda changing directions etc..
Say it ain't so???? I've been toying with selling off some spare stuff, too..... I have WAYYYYY too much stuff...

First time setup of everything..pretty sure this will be my layout.
if you end up not happy with the griddle check out the partner steel oneIMHO one of the best camp kitchen purchases I have ever made
I concur! I use it indoors as well? will NOT warp or rust!!! can also be used as a bridging device, body armor, sled, etc...

sorry for commenting on all of the posts after the fact.. been playing catch-up on here; been off the grid for a while... Great seeing some new addicts and products/reviews....
It does put out some heat. I got a very good deal on it.
Now that's a brilliant discovery! That opens up a lot of options...

How are you attaching the IGT2? Looks like no legs.
On a side note I just realised the IGT2 fits inside the Jikaro table perfectly.
So many options with this system now.

Hey mate, yes not using the legs. Held in place with the IGT connectors. I only bought 2 with me but you'd want 4 to make it sturdy.
It's funny cause I was communicating with Luke from Drifta on a FB page about this this morning. His response...
"Dave, well i just asked Takahiro snowpeak sales guy who’s staying with us atm, and he said ‘never heard of that’
so, but yes awesome idea.
"It's funny that SP didn't know it fit. Alas we do now.

The hooks are a GREAT piece of gear! I've used them inverted and on corners and table extensions. Packs a LOT better than a pair of legs!!
