Soon To Be Owner of H3T Alpha

Installed a CVT Roof Top Tent, then took a road trip down to Montana, over to Yellow Stone, then back up through Whitefish then took a detour through BC then home to break in the RTT!

I think you passed me on Hwy2 north last Sunday night around Red Deer. It was dark and I was concentrating on towing, though.

That sounds about right! I was coming back from our road trip in the US....If it was North of Red Deer I apologize for the fogs (took me a long time to realize I bumped them on while on a pit stop in gasoline alley....

Wish I had known, would have give ya a wave!

We were coming from Pine Lake (just south of Red Deer) so it was probably around Blackfalds that I saw you. Don't remember any fogs, but I didn't actually notice you until you were well past me. By then I could just barely make out the colour scheme on your tailgate. Didn't remember you mentioning a RTT, but makes sense if you just got it.

I was putzing along at 90, btw, so everybody else looked like they were flying to me, haha.
Glad you had a good trip!

Oh okay that makes sense then, I repalce the OEM fogs with some 4'' Round LED lights (6000k) which is not suitable for driving with because it blinds other drivers... well in the A&W parking lot in Red Deer I bumped them on and didn't know for a good 60 km.... everyone had bright light now a days and it blended in with all the rig rockets running HID's without proectors.... felt like a dink once i realized!!

The RTT cover is black and would be hard to see at night, but man its one of the best things I put on my T that's for sure!

The brackets for the sliders I am building came in last week... They look awesome! I went to go burn the plates together..... but I had 8'' of wire left on the spool so I am going to pick up a new spool of wire this week and burn them in over the weekend. I am also hoping to get the tubing bent up for the rest of the body of the slider this week as well so I can get build complete sliders in one go!

I'll post up the pics as things progress!

After this weekend the remaining (for now) tasks are:

1- UCP
2- Hidden Winch
3- Fix up DIY snorkel
4- Retro fit Projectors & HID's into the stock headlights (maybe some halo rings while I am in there for ********$ and giggles)
5- Steering support (haven't pick which on yet)
6- Smaller rims (soon will need new rubber)

....Then a trailer build for the RTT.... oh the list never ends!

If you need any help with the slider brackets or anything shoot me a pm. Andrew called me about it soo hopefully I gave him the correct info. lol

Awesome! Thanks I will certainly shoot you a pm if anything becomes difficult!

Andrew did a good job of labeling the parts from the one box I opened so far (of 3).

He told me he got some updated info from you and changed his design a bit based off of that, I am going to let him know how those changes fit!!

Thanks!!

When i welded the brackets together I used a piece of 1 3/4" tube to tack it and keep the brackets square when welding.
