since one roommate moved out, I've got a lot more storage space.... so I took out the rear jump seats to get a few more cubic feet of storage. 8 bolts and a half hour later, this is the result.

no seats, the pelican cases have more space, im not cramming everything in, and my day-pack fits into the passenger side space where the seat once was.

and the Pith helmet is just a joke. LOL don't take it seriously

nice work! i hated the jumpseats in my 99 d2 for the same reason..couldnt even fit my golf bag in the back without some work. glad i found my 2004 without them and i gained those little storage cubbies too:costumed-smiley-007

just started jotting down some of the places the rover has taken me....but I know i'm forgetting plenty.

the map below are the only states I've driven (with my own rover). however, I've driven in many other states and in plenty of other rovers. hopefully, this disco will take me new places this year.

spent some time cruising around and through Talladega National Forest yesterday. Also got a set of spare key blanks from Will Tillery.

looks like i gotta grind down the tips for the D2s but they should still work fine.

Ive spent the last 8 years crossing through Talladega NF on I-20 and have always wondered about the trails there. Where in the general area is that bridge ruin?

its in Lee County Al, in between Opelika and Lake Harding

We used to drink beer and wade fish around that. I am pretty sure I know where it is. Be careful, a lot of private property out there.

went to the Great American Park (ORV) in Auburn, AL for their spring opening weekend. rover got stuck right off the bat an an inclined mud hole (go figure lol) and later on got some air under the front end when i ramped out of a steep hole.
