Here's a shot from earlier this week. Other end of the world from Superu's (or so it seems - only a couple days drive in reality)

And one from last weekend:

This tent will probably live most of its life on a mini expo trailer, but I transported this today with my nused Subie.

It will be lifted 2" next year for just a little more ground clearance. Primary use is daily commuter and secondary use is camping beast :)

(General Grabber AT2's, Method Race Wheels, and Rhino-Rack Crossbars with Pioneer Roof Rack). Don't mind the, uh, bungie cords holding the roof rack. Had to drill for installation :coffeedrink:

Given the lift and aggressive tires and rack I went from 19-26mpg to 16-22mpg.
If you want to play you gotta pay....no getting around it..

For reference my 2.5 cvt 2010 OB runs 16-21mpg towing a 21ft 1800lb 8.5ft wide racing sailboat. Same car 4x6 900lb life time trailer 21-26mpg. Windage / drag has big impact on mileage with the 2.5.

Nakid roof zero gear SF To LA 28-30mpg. Thule roof box sleek 30inch wide 7ft long 1-3mpg hit same trip, add two Mt bikes fork mount it gets into the 5mpg hit.
