I haven't been on the forums in a long while, life changes, yadda yadda yadda. You know the drill.
Anywho, I needed an economical family car that I could do fun things with. I generally mistrust AWD vehicles because the majority of today's "All Wheel Drive" cars are really just "front wheel drive that occasionally sends a small amount of power to the rear axle when the car feels arsed to do so" cars. I think that Subaru is probably the only outfit making actual AWD cars with a dynamic torque biasing system and good torque distribution, plus they make an honest-to-god station wagon and not some cursed "crossover" jellybean.
I'll probably start a thread later, depending on how saucey I feel, but here is my new daily: Simon the Squeaking Subaru.
Currently on 215/70R16s, 1" of spacer lift, 1/4" of coil lift an EZ30 alternator for extra juice, a Grimmspeed crank pulley, some oddball roof rack, a bunch of electrical mods, and some racks for Rotopax jerrycans from a JL.
This photo was from my first shakedown after the lift:
And just a pic that I took to show off the mounting racks after work. They're still only roughed in and need a little extra work.
