Im building one of the pelican box batteries and have a question.
Is it possible to use the solar input on the controller to plug in to 12v dc in my rover to charge the battery. I would like to make one cable that will hook up the solar panel or dc to the rover to cut down on plugs on the outside of the box.

Do I understand you correctly, you want to input from your engine battery to the solar input to charge your spare battery, connected to your solar setup.
No, I would not advise that. What kind of rover to you have?

I have a 2002 disco with dual batterys in the works. This however is a self contained portable battery box with a small odyssey PC680 to use while camping to not have to pull of the Disco's on board system. Kinda like a jump box. Want to be able to charge it by solar/on board 12v and 120 with the battery tender.
