Well ,it has been awhile since I posted here. It's great to see how its grown. Lots of new members, new adventures, and new changes to our vehicles.
On that note here are some pic's of mine. My 01 D/C has been going strong now for almost 97K. Still running the Downey CO's, only now they have Tundra Springs (800lbs rate). In the rear I have gone to Alcans and I could not be happier, they have 2" lift but I should have allowed for more weight than I did on the rear (thats what I get for not staying in touch with y'all, someone here would have caught that). Still a Firefighter in Dallas, 20 years now. I am part of the USAR Team, which is also Texas Task Force 2 USAR. Anyway here's the pics and it's good to be back. Tu Compadre, Suty

Good lucking truck! I really like the idea of the tools behind the seat, out of the way and organized.

I also like those flares, how were they they to install? I have been thinking about upgrading from the stock yota flares to something like you have, are they the bushwackers?

Cool ride man-

EDIT....I just found them on the site http://www.bushwacker.com/fender.asp?make2=9&cat2=135&search=Search#
Do they make the flares in different coverage widths besides 3"?

Nick, Thanks, the Flares are the Bushwacker cut outs, not difficult to install just time consuming. You have to trim 1" off the back of the front wheel opening and the same off of the rear. They do not make anything smaller width wise in a Cut Out style. I hope this helps, Thanks for the kind words. Tu compadres, Suty

nice to see you back here... where did you go?
To USAR Training, I have spent most of the last 6mos in traning. Structural Collapse I and II, Technical Search, Trench Rescue ,and of course the always fun, Confined Space Rescue. Now that theres a break in training and our USAR Team is active things have calmed down. I hope all is well with you and yours. Tu compadrse, Suty

Great to have you back, it's been a bit! Really dig your truck build up. Well though out. What size tires are those?

Cheers,

Wow, I love the tools behind the rear seat. That is awesome. I'd love to have a fold-down rear seat in the Tundra. Wonder if it could be modded?

Welcome (back) and thanks for sharing the pics of your rig. That bumper / tire carrier is pure inspiration!

x2 on the tool holders behind the seats. Where did those come from?

Always happy to hear about those serving our country!

255's of course...how bout you? I wonder how the 295's work out? Tu Compa , Suty

I'm on 32" MTR tires presently. As for the 295 tires, Scott here had this to say about them:"Those big damn tires. A blessing ONCE (Rubicon), and a curse every other day. Can't wait to get back to a smaller size." Originally posted here. He was talking about the BFG 295 ATs he had installed for the Arctic Expedition.

Cheers,
P
