Frankly, this is really a nice idea. I just read about it at theadventurelife.org http://www.theadventurelife.org/2010/09/fresh-goods-swissroombox-portable-camper/.

Watch the video, because that explains it all. I love how it's way beyond just some cool bins and Storm Cases. Not sure if it's for me - I don't care for the chairs - but it wins points for style and innovative thinking.

And a pretty girl in the ad . . .

What are your thoughts? Is this for you?

Probably a good thing to highlight is that the boxes could be organized on the fly to create a platform. Whereas those of us who built our own drawers and such had to decide at the outset, "leave room for a platform or not?"

I know the "purists/elitists" will balk at it, but hey, these people are getting out and having a good time, not making rude remarks about others gear online.

It is all about getting out and having fun in the outdoors.
It is not my style of what they have, but I like the idea that something like this is available for people to get out and experience camping.

I love it. Modular is very cool. Very innovative project and looks well engineered,:victory:

Was "Tetris" invented by the Swiss? Their organizational skills are unreal...

I could see these boxes with an ECamper as being a great way to go - stealthy, unobtrusive, economical, non-flashy, useful & low impact. And if it keeps the lady happy & willing to go, even better.

Cool find - :box:

Wurd. I love traveling with my wife and a little sense of style goes a long way. And the next thing you know, BANG, you're pregnant.

Bringing up the Ecamper, I wonder if those are still around. Great point, sounds like a winning adventure combo.

Very cleaver design, add that to a 4wd Ecamper it's a very nice efficient setup. I would assume it's not coming to US as usual right?

Very interesting, and even though the style isn't for me I really like that there is a movement to make more stuff for our market.
If we want to keep this hobby alive we need it seen in a positive way by the average person and the best way to make that happen is to have more people in our hobby.

Well, Lance, and we also need to find a way to keep those freaking no-see-ums out of our ears, a way to get mystical campfire smoke to float straight up, and a way to get more lovely women involved. That last one's the easiest.
