The Baja Bus 1994 FZJ80 Build

Now you're just showing off.

Maybe just a little. :sombrero:

Thanks for sharing, love your Cruiser and photos of your travels. That hammock setup is pretty cool.

I love your hammock setup! I may have to do something similar.

Your hammock setup is sweet!

Thanks guys, it really is a kick *** set up, I can't believe I have never seen anyone else do it. Steal the idea all you want, I expect it to be an option on Slee's new bumpers soon! :victory:

Awesome scenery!

If you ever get the chance to go you need to! It is amazing that we live so close to such incredible country.

On a different note... I am putting the bus up for sale or trade... I really have been thinking and I want to do a long travel 100 series cruiser... I think...

Just read through your thread while I was supposed to be "working" haha..some really good info and love the Cruiser.

Sad to hear you are putting it up for sale, do you have any ads up for it yet? Would be interested to see price/mileage/etc.

Long Travel 100?!! Wicked. Are you going to be building your own A-Arms? Not sure such a kit exists for the 100. I know they have mid-travel kits but not full LT. Man, I'm excited for this!

On a side note, sad to see you let go of the 80, one of my favorite 80-series builds and if I hadn't just bought my own, I'd be considering making the drive down south to pick yours up! GLWS.

Yeah all custom made upper and lower A-Arms probably 2"-3" wider per side and enough room to run a coil-over. I have been talking with Pro Am about designing it for me and looking at custom CV axles as well. Still trying to figure out if the stock spindle will work or not, I need one to take measurements off of...

Just finished reading through this entire thread to find out you're selling it! Man, that's one fun build, but I guess all the fun is in the building process, once it's built, you have to move on.

Be sure and add a link to the next build-out

I never really gave a crap about swing-out tire carriers, until I saw your swing-out *kitchen*. Freakin A man, I want that!

Sweet 80 and I look forward to watching you build a 100! Mine is being modded very slowly, it's hard having a Jeep trail rig *and* a Hundy. I guess you didn't really have anywhere else to go with the 80!
