If you are looking for clear lenses for your lights. I had good luck on elightbars.org it is a forum for emergency equipment..

Thanks for the lead, I still have some other equipment to get rid of also. I'm gonna head over there and check it out.

I always herd the tri-state as NY, NJ, CT. I'm in Jersey btw

In our neck of the woods its at the end of the Oklahoma panhandle, where OK, Colo., and NM intersect, or in the NE corner of OK, where OK, MO, and AR intersect. Welcome , by the way. :ylsmoke:

So I've been trying to design a on-board water system of the Ambo.

Heres what I have so far...

This setup would allow me to refill the storage tank directly from a shore hookup, and bypass the tank and pump while plugged in.

Let me know what you think or if something needs changing.

Looks good, but why do you have 2 pump switches? You dont have to manually turn your pump on/off every time you use the water; just get a pump with a built in pressure switch and plumb as normal. When pressure falls on output side of pump, it automatically comes on. I'd leave one manual switch just so you can shut the whole system down for storage or other times when the pump is dry.

I found one in the West Marine catalogue, when I put pressure water system in my big deck boat about 10 years ago. Works perfect, and haven't touched it since, except for winterizing. Really cheap, and system took 2 hours to install. Might have to plumb in a little pressure reservoir canister to store a little line pressure on the output side, to smooth out the on off pressure surges, but these are small, plastic, cheap, and avail from same place. Also, about any RV parts store will prob have these; there's lots of crossover.

Also, I bought a 12v pump on Amazon. Shuts itself off/on with pressure switch that's built in.
Sure-flo? I want to say? Was around $60.

I'd put a one-way check valve on your pump bypass, or you'll likely not build pressure.

I thought about that too, but it looks like he has manual valves to isolate the bypass loop when he's not using it. MY problem with lots of manual switches and valves is I forget what they were supposed to do after a few years of not using them! :-D The one way check valve would be better. . .works automatically, and you'd only need one instead of two.
