I'd make sure you have a drain for the tank if/when it overflows that routes the excess water outside. I see that you have a valve for when you are connected to water that takes the tank out of the equation, but somewhere, eventually, you will forget to switch it over, and the tank will overflow. Plan for that now and run an overflow line to the underside of the vehicle.

Good call, I'll replace the breather on the tank with a over flow drain. Cap it with a screen to keep creepy crawlies out.

You lost me, lol. Would I still need the cut offs with a one-way valve?

nope. :)

EDIT: well, at least it doesn't look like it to me so far. Both ways should work from the way I'm reading your diagram.
And +1 on the overflow for your tank. Let's just say I had a modicum of experience with an overflowing tank once upon a time...

Good question. Mine puts out around 45-50psi. Not sure if a blast of unregulated high pressure water could do your pump in or not... Maybe a second check valve between the pump and shore water?

Hmmmmmmm.....I may just have to keep the one check valve and run a separate feed from the tank to the pump

That way the tank sould act as a buffer

First day out and about. Finished blacking out the red lights, the exterior is pretty much good to go now.

I sent you a pm on this about a week ago I think. Did you ever see it? If it disappeared into the cloud let me know and I'll resend.

Crap... My bad. Yea I did, I'll get the info for you tonight. Sorry, I've been spread pretty thin lately

So we spent the whole day today working on the Ambo, a buddy of mine came over to give me a hand fixing the top-end fuel leak. I was able to find the source early this morning. Found the fuel bowl restriction sensor was leaking internally.

$60 form ford...F#+@ THAT!

We ended up just deleting it entirely using a 1/4 NPT plug. I don't need a light to tell me to change the filter...although the previous owner sure did.

While we had it apart, I also replace the hoses from the lifter pump to the fuel bowl.
We couldn't find any more leaks, so I'll be keeping an eye out for any to develop. Hopefully we're good to go.

While me and my buddy Eric were working up front, the wife was busy starting the disassembly of some of the cabinets in the rear, to make way for our shower setup and and cooking area.

The shower will be full height, ran by a Eccotemp L5 on demand propane water heater.

Pulled the ceiling pads to remove the grab bars and find the spots for front and rear Fantastic Fans. The Mrs. Nearly lost it when the last pad came down due to a squashed mouse almost falling on her head! I was cracking up!!!!

Most likely we'll be running a simple propane double burner camp stove. We pulled the "back splash" to see what's behind it. ( it was bumped out 3in from the wall for clearance for oxygen lines and whatnot) We may be adding a small pop out window here also, but we'll see.

Notice the small door on the right, it's a pass through to the front oxygen tank compartment. I'll be mounting the propane tanks there which will allow us to turn the tank on and off from the inside.
