The Great Roadway Bazaar

They are picking an odd route through Mongolia. I don't know anyone who has gone down to Bayaan Olgii then back up towards Ulaangom. They are hitting part of the road that the Boorman and McGregor took on the back side of the lake to miss the flooded river.
It should be a challenging route. The part we went on was rocky, sandy, muddy, and gravelly. Sometimes all at once.

I've noticed they have done that about 3 or 4 times, usually while camping out away from towns.

Mongolia is great. Made it through the border in less then 24 hours. We did, in fact, head to Olgii and then back up to Ulanngom. Camped 200 KM out of Moron. We've teamed up with "two fun, hot, beautifully banterful English babes in a sexy **** car" (their words).
