Thank you Nathanael.
I am gonna put it on the side of the passenger box in between the turnbuckle doors. I will use both the plastic spacers unless I find something better at Home Depot. I'll also use the wood spacer and cut it with a saw/dremmel so half will be in the storage space and the other outside.

Went to Lowes. They seem to have better selection. I got some polyurethane washers to space the mounting plate slightly away from the storage lid and some spacers for the backside. I think it will work out.

It is fun to see the photos of when the interior was being built. I want to design and build another camper (or boat) space!
come build mine! i'm reaching burnout.

i was in new zealand this winter and picked up a lagun table. now i'm thinking of adding an extra mounting bracket on the outside. do you know if the springfield "lagun style" bracket is compatible?

An outside mount! Great idea.
What hardware did you use for the drivers side mount? The stock bolts aren't long enough on the lower two. I had to go with another option after trying four hardware stores.

Four hardware stores! Wow. I have bought most all of my stainless hardware from the local general store/gas station. I guess that is the bonus for living in a place with a fair amount of sailboat traffic. But they just have the regular aisle of nut and bolts bins.

I can not remember if I bought a shorter set of bolts for the top, or if I cut down the stock ones. On the bottom I must have bought longer ones that matched the top.

Wish I could. Want to ship it up north? :)

Yeah, that is why I bought two mounts. Originally I had planned on putting one mount on the outside rear corner of the camper. You can use the table with the bracket reversed, so the table is lower than the bracket. Perfect for an outside table! I would still like to put a mount on the outside of the camper....

I would guess that mount would work with the real Lagun bracket, but there would only be one way to know for sure. :) Let me know if you order it, as I would not mind a cheaper mount on the outside of the camper as it will just get covered in dirt.
EDIT With the crazy high cost of shipping from Cascade Depot, you might as well order the real Lagun part from SVHotwire.com

The camper was on the truck for a couple days. :)

Had some work away from home and I was happy to save the money staying in the camper compared to a hotel room. Just stayed at a municipal campground, but here are a couple photos non the less.

Now the camper is back off, and Hadley is back to daily driver duties.

Nathaniel,
I used to have to travel for work. I stayed in so many motels that I despise them now. You may have saved a lot more than money with all the bedbugs that seem to be around. The last motel room I got was when I drove to Reno to pick up this 4 wheel camper. I am hoping it is the last one that I will ever stay in also. I am still lurking on your build and do appreciate everyone's input.
