Sorry it took me so long. Here is a photo of the spacers installed. We just used bolts as spacers. The ones we used happen to be the perfect size. I am guessing they were 1/2 inch.
Based on the picture and some of his explanations I'm pretty sure they are just Grade8 nuts from the hardware store. Nothing special. Basically just find the nut that matches the amount of lift you need.
In the other thread he linked to they said it was approximately a 3:1 ration. Therefore a 5mm nut (or spacer) would provide just about 15mm of lift in the rear.
Thanks JaminGX for answering the question about the spacers. Yes they are just bolts that they had around the shop. The ride is very nice. I have only been on a dirt road once since having the new set up so can not give a full review yet, but on the road it rides great. I would say it rides better then it did in sport mode.
Thought I would update the tread on the new lift. I LOVE IT! The ride is fantastic. I had the trailer connected for the first time this weekend and the added wieght smoothed out the rear. I love this truck more and more every day.
I have done some pretty washboard dirt roads. The new set up did great. I am hoping to do a more technical trial soon. I am still very happy so far. The one road ride is great.
I did a trail with the full Iron Man suspension. Very nice! The GX is a little mountain goat! I think the IFS may be a little undersized for the V8 offroad though.
