Viggen
Just here...
So, Im pulling my SG sliders, rear ladder and SD rack this weekend to strip, prime and seal with new, rust proof paint (going with Rustoleum black hammer finish for something tough, flexible and different). The roof panel is faded and a little stained from the rain water dripping through the floor on the rack so Ive been thinking about redoing the roof panel while I am there and my thought brings a love it of hate it reaction; a thinned bedliner coating. Its tough, stain resistant, scuff and scratch resistant, and acts a sound deadening also. It can be applied thinly too which is a huge plus and it comes in a tan shade which would look really cool with the blue paint on my truck.
Anyone done it or thought about it? I know its heavier than a coat of two of paint but the fact that bedliner will never, ever fade and will never stain as a result of the rack, is a selling point. Oh, did I mention is comes in tan
So, yea or nay?
