Alright. Most likely the last update photos,
before the top is finished!! It's off to the upholstery shop for the fabric and the mattress.

So here is the flange for the top to seal to the samurai. What a pain to make...






Can't wait to have it done.

There is a total of 6". 3" of which is taken up by the mattress cushions. The other 3" is for pillows/ bedding and side fabric.

Spent the morning insulating the lid and installing the solar marine vent. The vent is solar powered w/ battery to run thru the night as well as a light. The fan's airflow is reversible in or out. Hopefully this makes condensation inside the top a non-issue.




Insulation was simple. Reflextix then 3/4" foam board.



Now time for the headliner.
