Sorry lol! That's my daughter for ya! I was checking out your build, guess she likes it too!!

I was gonna say, I like the progress so far! I know the troubles of building an old jeep. Specifically an XJ! I built an XJ a few years back it had over 319k with no rebuilds just regular maintenance! My aunt and uncle bought it new in 1987 and I got it from them for $300! It's still kicking with 389k!

Thanks KLT! Haha no worries. We all know kids can do crazy things when they get a hold of a phone. Thats crazy thats its still running after all this time and all those miles!

Honestly, mine is fairly stock as well. Minus the new front coils and shocks. Youll have to start a build thread so I can keep up on your work.

Thanks Viking! Im pretty happy with how its coming along, just wish I had more time/money to put into it. I guess thats what we do with our rigs though....sometimes its the trip not necessarily the destination.

My buddy and I were chasing electrical gremlins for a while, but we seem to have everything sorted out now! It would randomly not start one day then start the next. You never knew when the gremlin would appear lol! Gotta love the 80's electronics!

Hahaha!!! You got that right!! Heck some of the new(er) jeeps have electrical issues right off the line almost, so I guess we're not doing too bad!

Haha true! Very true.

Im really happy with mine, but sometimes I do wish it was 97-01 model. I just have always liked how they look. But this one was a good deal at a good time, so what are ya gonna do? Lol

Absolutely, can't pass up a good deal! Since you've already got the mirrors and center console from a 97-01 put the front clip on? Then you'll want to do the doors/ panels and then the dash lol!
