Touch up paint

Hi I have a white 2006 fg. There are a couple of scratches I need to touch up. As the dealer does not have touch up paints for these trucks what have others used? I tried a Honda white paint but it isn't as creamy.

I am told that there are many shades of grey, but there are even more tones of white!

Normally you can get a good spray painting shop to mix you up the correct paint colour.
I also know of an automotive paint distributor where I am that will even make up an aerosol pack of any custom colour, although this is definitely more pricey.

To get the correct colour match, look on your compliance plate. The colour code will be listed there.

Believe it or not, our paint shop actually has a special camera and software program that takes an image of a paint sample and then spits out the exact mix ratios.

Lol about 50 shades i would say.

At work we can make just about any colour with a paint code or paint number from a 50ml pot with a brush in the top up to 4 litres, also in aerosol can.

Wow John thats great system i have had a play with one at a trade show , most of the systems are worth a few big $$$ ideal for a paint shop.

Ditto, our local auto paint supply store can match paint fine. I have a white XJ and they gave me a perfect match touch-up paint and also sold me a can of matched rattle can spray paint :)
