Trail Marker trailer. Anyone seen this before or have one?

They have some varieties. Honeycomb composite walls. I think the size might be a sweet spot for a few people on here, larger than tear drop, but not huge.
Anyone have one of these, and could speak to quality?

I raised the same question regarding Trail Marker on a post here in early December. Didn't receive replies from anyone with direct first hand experience. While they have several models to choose from and a wide options list, it seems most all of the trailers they build are custom variations of the standard models shown on their website. The trailers are actually built by Rolling Star Trailers in New York. They have a history in large complicated mobile command centers, food concession trailers. cable splicing trailers and toy/snowmobile haulers. So, from a manufacturing standpoint, they are not newbies. I've been exchanging e-mails and a few phone calls with the owner and he has been very responsive to my many questions and offer great latitude for design modifications. I'm looking for alternatives to the RV mix I currently own. In the process of weighing the cost/benefit variables.

He did quickly reply to my initial email. Was a pleasant surprise.
They have a "toy hauler" unit called the XL thats narrower than 7 feet wide, and only 14 feet long. This is what I consider the ideal size for a long term base camp trailer, especially considering Dear wifes criteria and my own are opposed to each other. The Up and Out base plan seems like it would also do well for folks on here, Again less than 7 wide and only 12 long, and shorter than the XL. I find the base pricing very fair for the materials it is made from. It would appear to be a great alternative to a cargo trailer conversion.
As well, the offer to make changes to the trailer is excellent. The options list alone was 3 pages long, so even just using the listed options gives you quite the possibilities.

Also, ball park costs to have one shipped from upstate New York to the west coast is in the neighborhood of $3,400. The offer a power lift queen size bed in the rear of the trailer that can be raised up to the ceiling when not in use, allowing room for a bike or equipment below. Anyone under 6' tall should be able to walk underneath when in raised position. They are very interested in learning what potential customers plan to use the trailer for, including expected maximum loads so the can help dial in the suspension required. I believe it comes standard with a Dexter Torsion Axle but they offer a Timbren Axle on some of the trailers and may be able to put one on the XL.

When I can sit down with my wife and go over the options and layouts, and come up with some agreement, I am going to ask about a rear tip out option , and failing that, if we can get a fixed back door on the XL and add some cabinets and storage elsewhere.
My wife is dead set on a hybrid trailer but they are all built by Thor or Forest River and never again will I haul a camper made by them. Hence asking them about a tip out bunk.

My thoughts on the XL were we raise the bed to use the table underneath. Sitting down we should have plenty of headroom, as I am 5'7 and my wife is 5'8.

DW biggest concern is lack of storage. There isn't really any non floor space storage compared to our pop up.

We try to go for a 2 week adventure each year where we live out of it. She wants certain comforts.

They are very willing to customize the trailers. From what I've seen on their website and speaking with the owner, I suspect a solid rear wall would not be an issue. They can put windows back there if desired. Also, they can build additional inside storage cabinets to your specifications high on the wall or similar to the front cabinets but on the sides. Take a look at the "Alaskan" model they custom made for a couple from Alaska. The shape is unlike any of the other standard models they offer, with the rear end sweeping up to address departure angle. The power lift bed is what I'm considering. Lowers down when sleeping and lifts up with enough clearance for me to walk under it (I'm 5' 8"). In the raised position, there would be enough room to carry my motorcycle, even with the windscreen.
