Truck Camper vs Van Conversion?

All right, all right I am sold on the truck camper, with all of the negatives
Would you buy the camper first and go select a truck to fit or truck first, camper second?
-- Where do I find them for cheap?
-- Is it worth buying one in horrible state and renovating?

Also keep in mind the floor of a standard flatbed is higher than the floor of a standard pick-up bed. Hope you've got things up and running with what you were looking for!

Flatbed has advanage of more usable space down below..one only need to buy or fabricate some storage boxes,,IF I was doing another camper I would go that route..
