Tundra Overlander in progress.

Interested in seeing how those bumpers look. The pics from the Aluminess site make that bumper look HUGE.

How much does the front weigh?

The website says 85# for the front, but doesn't feel like it. Mounted the Warn VR 10,000 winch in the bumper tonight. I like the lockable compartments on the front and rear. The pics of the bumper on the website do look huge, but I think that was an early model.

What are the wheels you have on now? Do you know the offset specs? My Emu lift has positioned the factory wheels closer to the Light racing UCAs than I like, so I may need to consider an aftermarket wheel to run a larger tire.

The terra grapp's are pretty decent, I got those on mine atm, and they have done pretty well so far. They just wear a little fast.

Out of curiosity, why did you go with the VR10K instead of the VR12K? 12K winch seems more appropriate for the size of the Tundra.

Cheers

I chose the 10K over the 12K because Aluminess told me that was the max I could use and I emailed the warn rep and he said they use the 10k on their Tundra support vehicle. I was kind of surprised about it being the max for the bumper. I don't remember if it was size or rating.

Installed. I had my 15 year old help me!

The factory aluminum bumper was removed and four studs project forward and the Aluminess is slid over them. I thought I had a pic, but guess not.

The rear was easy.

I'll put the national luna power pack in next since I ran out of time today.
