e350vegas,

I also got a ride in V5 when I was there almost 2yrs ago visiting Chris/UJOR for the first time. He did some evasive manuevers and emergency braking; I was sold! So thanks. :)

Chris, I know you perform quite a few engine upgrades to the 6.0 diesel but was wondering if you do or recommend anything for the Ford 6.8l V10? There doesn't seem to be a lot of discussion on any performance or reliability upgrades for this engine...even exhaust upgrades seem to be questionable if they help or hurt. Similar question for the 5r110 trans. Thanks!

I also have the Ford 6.8L V10 (2004) engine, but in a F250, and it gets about 9 mpg on a good day. Two years ago, I added an aFe 54-10331 Air Intake System but it didn't seem to help at all. If anything, it made it worse. I still have the stock exhaust system, and have been told that's the problem because I have increased the airflow in, but have not provided anyway for it to get out.

I'm sure any suggestions would help us both out. Thanks...

Back to ujor build business Chris. Got a question or two. She's done, but I seem to have a bit of a pre-runner thing going on. Looks like the butt is dragging about an inch or thereabouts. Enough to be noticeable anyway. What are my options to level it up? Rear seems to be a lot squishier than the front.

Next ,and this might be related to the first, is the rear tires dont seem to be centered in the well opening anymore. Look to be shifted to the rear about an eye-ball inch. Maybe from the squat? I havent done diddly to try to figure anything at this point. Been busy with alignments, tranny issues, etc.

I figure with your experience you might know right off whats what.

Got home last night, took 2 days to make it from Denver to AVL. The meet & greet was nice, more vans than I expected and got to ******** chat about what we love. Vans.

Back to the shop this morning, nice to see the guys made lots of progress on the 2 rigs we've been working on. The Poland van is coming along nicely, just needs shafts and wheels/tires.

Dejavier/Crows 2.0 is mobile too, ready for some miles before the customer comes next week! Super excited for him to drive it and feel the difference.

V4 wanted that pesky Sherpa off its back! Over 4500 miles, a few gallons of diesel & 13 states its now time to put the Sherpa away until fall! V4 will be getting a nice cleaning and some relaxation. We had zero issues on the trip, just had to swap a wheel to our spare after it sprung a leak.

If you need a lower valance, good luck, as those usually fell off pretty early in the vans' life and were ripped rest of way off and trashed by owners. (My history anyway). If you need a bumper, I have one and its yours for the shipping cost. End is pre-trimmed to clear UJOR conversion just as you describe.

Now that I think about it, Chris has done some late model vans that prob had the lower valance attached. If they got a new bumper, you might be in luck. If he has one, I'm sure he'll do you right.

Missed responding to this. Your offer is major cool and sincerely appreciated. I still have the bumper though so just looking for the valence part, but it's not a major priority. Other things have come to the forefront, unexpectedly. When they get handled I will indeed see what Chris might have laying around. :)
