Very controversial wheels here..... going on a van that we're building right now that is headed to a hunting camp in KS. The entire van will be wrapped in the same pattern.

I think William Gibson said that Camouflage (in fashion) was going to be remembered as the "Paisley" of the 2010's. If that's so, then Realtree is probably the 2010's automotive equivalent of that color-change pearl paint from the 1990s.

That's a great looking wheel. Too bad XD doesn't make them in all black, I'm not a big fan of the chrome dots around it. We need a "wheel" thread for these vans. I'm having the toughest time deciding on a wheel. Sorry to derail the thread. Back to more ujor goodness.

Kansas people are a little...different.

Chris, what did you use for springs on the rear of V7? I dig that 6/4 combo. I wonder how a 6/4 with 33s would look.

It's all done! Huge thanks to Chris at for putting up with my calls and questions. He kept me up to date on everything and delivered an awesome kit. Couldn't be happier with the work Jeff and his team at Built to Last in Durango did installing everything. This was his 3rd Ujoint conversion and he knows what he's doing.

I've put 620 miles on it so far and the difference between it and the Quigley both on and off road is very noticeable. No more death wobble, steering feels more direct and sharper, the ride is firmer but takes potholes and sharp edges so much better. I took it on my least favorite washboard gravel roads and my silverware didn't even rattle. It's not cheap, but this is how 4wd conversions should be done on these vans if they are going to see more rough terrain.

6" lift, 35" KO2's, Stage 2 axle, 4:10's, Fox remotes all around with duals up front.

Here's a few quick pictures.

A question about the Toyota Sienna Seats...

If I may change the subject for just a second, a quick question about the Toyota Sienna Seats...

Are they balanced and stable enough, both in the upright and reclined positions, to be self supporting if they were mounted on a portable base of some sort instead of attached to the floor, so they could be moved around?

My Ambo build is in the form of a camper trailer vs. a complete vehicle, so the seats would only be used when the trailer was stopped and set up in a camp.

Any info would be appreciated!

Best to discuss here instead; http://www.expeditionportal.com/for...ot-so-definitive-guide-to-Sienna-seats/page22
From my own experience, Upright yes. And I believe in Reclined position yes too(based on pics I've seen).

Water Transfer Printing?

Yes sir.

It is tough! Usually the most time consuming part of every build plan.

Kansas people are a little...different.

Possibly! V7 has 4" springs in the back.

Would be curious to see(if we can ;) ) the rig when complete.

You know I'll post when we get done, I'll ask him to send me pics once the wrap is final.

Looks great! Glad to hear the performance is better too.

What vehicles/projects will UJOR have at the show in a few weeks?
