And V4 is on the ground! 5" lower than it was, we'll probably bring it up an inch or 2 for some more up travel. What a job, we did a lot of head scratching to make it all fit, especially up front. 12" travel 3.0 Kings with no inner fender mods and lower ride height was no easy task. We did a LOT of mock ups! I'll post more details later, ck out V4 Suspension Re Do album on Facebook if you want to see pics of the entire prosecute I believe I've posted them all here.

Spotted at New Belgium Brewery. Being a local in a small-ish town means I see the vans all the time.

Good looking van.

Whose roof rack is this? U-joint? How about the rear spare carrier? Is there a thread?

Thanks,

Gregor

I don't know what it is but I love the snot out of this van. Are those front fenders factory or the flared glass units somebody makes. Hard to tell from the pics and though I've seen this in person a few times my memory is lacking.

Glad you like it! I miss it, can't wait to get it back in the rotation. Factory fenders that were opened up at the rear.

Love the high travel with lower ride height!!! Makes so much sense, especially for vans. Also, with those wheels, I no longer dislike the green color of the van. It's a very nice combo. The conservative green with the unapologetic gold bling make for a very cool overall package. Well done.

Good to see another Ambo in our midst...

Spotted in my driveway.

Man, just can't say enough about the way this thing drives on the road. So stable. Corners way better than stock, which is hard to believe. I have to think that, aside from just a really well thought out suspension kit, part of the equation is that these trucks have a way lower cg than they look like they'd have.

Transmission first of the week. Drive shafts whenever they get in. Still have to hack the elec Tcase. Any advice on that would be appreciated. And no, it's not fn pink. Do not say that. Do NOT say it's pink.

Definitely not pink... clearly Salmon ;)

 Down side of digital cameras colours can vary a lot.

Transit is done! For now. We'll be adding a rack and possibly some other goodies to this rig later. I really like it.
