UJOR Build Thread

I vote for Chris' next project to be an E-350 6x6 as seen on unUrban's thread. Might not be practical outside of snow an ice, but would be really cool!

If I put all the stuff the missus wants in the ambulance I will need 6x6. Maybe a little less rubber on the ground though.

Thats all I need!! Imagine the "compensation" comments I'd get (as if I don't get them already)

Just do it! :D

V4 hangers are back from PC & mounted. The pass side F bumper bracket had taken a hit at some point, so I cut it off & re welded it to the frame and it's good to go. I have an axle to build tomorrow, but I'm hoping to install the front axle and then pull the rear out.

That is some awesome work! I may be calling you in a day or so...

I think you should set up a temporary shop at Overland Expo and convert a lucky members van!

I was hoping for the cutaway version ……….. Just kidding! That’s WAY cool! What is the final weight on that bad boy?

:coffeedrink:

That's going to screw up the whole trade-balance thing now. Great Chris - just great.

:) Sorry!!!

Yea, the cutaway would be really cool, and would have taken me an extra 6 months! Not sure of the weight, I'll guess at 200?? A buddy and I carried it in the house without cursing so I guess it's not too much. Lighter than I expected, I've already thought of ways to improve if I do another. (hide the casters in the block)

So here is the 1st coil van that I'll be fixing this month. The 2nd will be here next week. This is a good example of someone lifting a Quigley & not being able to eliminate death wobble. The customer has had enough!! UJOR suspension here we come......

Yesterday was a big day for arrivals, and here is another victim! This 00 E350 7.3 with SMB pop top will be receiving a full makeover & 4" lift. Then it will head back to the west coast.
