""When Expo'ing around the Globe, did you ever think to yourself; What this forlorn country needs; is some WALMARTS!
If so, by 2015 it will possible to circle the world and camp at a different Walmart every night.""

Lake Havasu Walmart won't so I asked why. They said they can't allways allow it if they lease from a strip mall developer. If they own the land they allow it. It's cool that they do when they can but you need to check before a mall cop wakes you up.

Mudhipy is under the knife! We've been collecting parts as it patiently waited its turn. Only 45K on this 6.0 and it's getting the works. Full UJOR 6.0 treatment, 8" lift on 37's, ready to go!

I don't want to make this into a bash fest, but this van came to me directly from Colorado Camper Van. When we started to really look at it, we found many things that I would consider to be below anyones quality standards. I'm only posting pics because I want to make sure that nobody gets this kind of work in the future. I'm going to repair what I can. The pics will do the talking from here------

Chris,

Is he selling off the old Quigley parts?
I may be interested in the trailing arms, if they are usable. I have the older box style...

Front suspension is out!

This is a low mileage axle, so we'll be refreshening it and adding crossover steering. One issue we'll address is the bolt pattern. Quigley changes the pattern of the unit bearing to 8 on 6.5, and modifies the rotors so they can use the stock wheels. This is fine when new, but a real pain when you start to replace parts. Imagine needing a unit bearing or even brake rotors in the middle of nowhere! Not a good situation in my opinion, nothing in any parts store ANYWHERE will work without modification. So we're putting this axle back to 8 on 170mm by replacing the unit bearings and throwing on a brake upgrade while we're at it.

Plasma comes out tomorrow!

Yeah. It sounds like a good idea on the face of it--but it is SO MUCH BETTER long term to keep wear items standard. The rear spacers are a much better solution long term and solves two problems at once.

No holiday slacking for us! Work must go on!

We tag teamed the EGR & engine upgrades on the MudHipy today, and V4 got a bit of love too. Rebuilt tranny went back in as well as the t-case. Justin is back in NC so we'll be finishing up the bed over the next week as well as making some other cool stuff.
