The flatbed has already become a crap catcher
No Horizontal surface is ever EVER safe from clutter!

Loving the build, nice to see the progress A+
I have to say, I was working on building a 1996 F250 Supercab for use with a truck camper and was pretty far along with an interior swap; painted frame; rebuilt axles etc.
Way back in February I got into an accident that totalled my Ranger and shortly thereafter while looking at your V4 renderings again, it was the turning point that changed my mind to drop finishing the F250 and instead start collecting parts to build a rig similar to V4, albeit lower budget.

Yes, it is. This project is great and I wouldn't change it, but if you really wanted to go over-the-top bat-stuff crazy with the next one, two words: Portal Axles.

Glad I could inspire!

Kinda funny.......in the old VW bug
Days or sometimes known as the Baja bug days.....we would get the rear axles out of old buses...portals and put them in bugs. It would way help the clearance. Totally cool those times were! :D

This build seriously has me wanting a crew cab vanup aka van pick up.

You're not the only one; I've been wondering how a crew cab version would look since I first happened upon the renderings for V4 ... maybe on a lwb platform?

Also, portals: didn't Mopar release info on a set of Dynatrac D60 derived portals (full axles, not just boxes) that they'll be making for the JK guys, at the most recent EJS? Want to say that I saw msrp of >10k/axle though, so not cheap.

Nice job on V4, it's looking really good even if the bed doors don't match the bed ... ;-)

Those are axletech boxes bolted to the dynatrac axles. Its on dynatracs website. The axletech boxes can be had for about $7k front and rear. So $10k per axle sounds extreme.
