Thanks very much, we just treat people the way we'd like to be treated, simple. Unfortunately I talk to a lot of guys that go a cheaper route or get misinformed and regret what they've done with other converters.

Well, if you sit down and do the math over the years you've probably got a lower cost of ownership with the V10.

I agree. If I was buying new I don't think I'd pay an extra $6k for a diesel. However, a clean used 7.3 is definitely on my watch for list. My only concern is with the extra weight. We spend a lot of time on the sand, and the diesel pickups seem to have more problems with that just due to the weight on the front end. I think a van would be a little more balanced.

The van will be pretty nose-heavy even without a diesel; more so with one. But if you convert to 4wd, problem solved!

VivaLaVida is back. Its had over 20k of dirt miles and has been all the way to Baja and Alaska, now its back for some refresh before the next step of journey. Beef up some stuff here and there, its great to have someone pushing the rig to the limits so we can learn and improve.

Snow day! Got some fresh wet powder so we hit the woods. Good times.

I met up with VivaLaVida and it's pilot the other day when they came through. Great to see Claude and hear about his adventures. He's been 60k total in the van and stayed in it every night for the last year and a half, he told me. All the way to Whitehorse Ak and back. Crazy stuff. He definitely qualifies as the official lab rat for Ujoint/van testing!

Great snow pics Chris. Ours is about gone.

Does V4 have a rear window?

70 mile round trip over snowy country roads today to pick up our beef from the processor. First long drive in 4wd and the van handled great! Turned the snowy roads into a non-event. Guy at the processor who helped me load was watching me back in through the drifted up drive. He said "Man, I've never seen a 4wd van before!" :Wow1: Well, it was pretty fun!

Yes, he has beat on it! V4 has a sliding rear window. Same as an F series.
