Ok here are the details on the revised coil setup! We're only selling as a complete kit, everything is included but the application specific parts like transmission x-member, shifter, fuel tank kit, etc. If you already own this conversion we'll have a special price for the upgrades if you choose to install them. (I would) New radius arms are on my list of things to do, we'll make them and go into production with the next coil swap done here. Axles and t-cases are also available. Here's what you get for the kit prices below (I'll post a complete pic soon)

Radius arm mounts

Chris...

Is the coil kit still mainly bolt on or is there welding involved?

There is welding required now. Lower trac bar mount and I'm going to recommend welding the upper mount too.

Just did a 2hr final test drive of this van and its really nice, super happy with the results. No stabilizer, tracks and steers great.

Was this van a 4" or 6" kit? How does it compare to your comparable leaf kit? Sorry to reopen the debate of leaf v. coil, but now that you've done this upgrade to the coil I wonder if it changes the analysis. Thanks

This van has the heavy 4" springs in the front since its a SMB. The leaf kit is still my favorite for backroad driving and handling but these changes to the coil kit as huge and I'm much more confident after the changes. Some rigs are better off with coils, some with leaves. Lift height, year, engine, weight & intended use are all considered when I make recommendations for either.

The revised coil van has made it back home, here's what he had to say:

“Ended up running straight through yesterday with a detour up Shenandoah np. Totally different van. Hit 75 for the first time (2 or 4wd) which I still don't recommend, but not because of the twitchy steering anymore
No bump steer, and I hit some real nasty ones! Wash board, uneven lanes, the nasty dips before over passes, all with no anxiety. Well less anxiety with each hit. Thanks again. I'll keep you posted.”
