Thanks to everyone for the welcome, fun wheeling and for allowing my son in his Jeep to participate. I really enjoyed seeing all the different builds and models of LR's. We had a great time and look forward to the next adventure.

This turned out to be a great event! The weather was perfect, the trails were nice and the people were excellent.

I want to give a big thank you to everyone that showed up this past weekend and I hope you had as much fun as I did. I would also like to give another big thanks to the sponsors that offered goodies for Saturday night's raffle/auction with special recognition to RoverTym, Lucky 8, Hard Labor Creek Fabrication, Camel 4x4, Southeast Overland, Rovaguy, and Rover Automotive for coming out to the event to experience the 8th Annual Uwharrie Rover Expedition with us first hand.

Thanks again and I am already looking forward to the 9th annual URE!

Oh man, I can't believe I missed meeting you Mark and MP after all this time online!

It was a good size crowd this year and we did all stay out on the trails all day. Sorry I missed the chance to place a face with a screen name gents. I was camped at the top of the hill in the back with the G4 Freelander, G4 DII, D90, My DI,another (red) DI and a totally stock DII that a new guy had just bought and took on every trail with us without missing a beat although he did have a nasty sounding CV joint snap (my guess).
