USA importer of Longranger Aux tanks

I have contacted man-a-fre to see if they could bring one in.

WOW, 70 gallons. That is nuts. How did they find so much room under your rig?

It is actually Aero Tanks.

They are right down the hill from my house. Make sure you research them before using them. They had a bad attitude and didn't even care about trying to fit a tank under our rig. I offered to drop it off and they acted like i was inconveniencing them. Their customer service didn't even exist. Almost like they have got so big, they don't care to do anything other than dually trucks and tow rigs. I hung up with them and went another route. We are now running a Long Range Auto tank from down under.

There was gossip about GenRight doing one, but nothing confirmed.

Im talking to them right now regarding this for you guys. My buddy was there today and asked the owner. Apparently its a problem due to the exhaust being in the way and having to re-route it.

Did they say the exhaust was an issue for the TJ/LJ? It is on the other side of the driveshaft on these so it should not be an issue. However, on the JK the exhaust is in the way. If you watch the installation videos for the JK tank from Long Ranger you can see the tank fits right along the exhaust using a heat shield.

EDIT: I retract the above question. SoCal mentioned the Exhaust was an Issue on the KJ in the thread below.

I actaully started a whole thread on Genright build aux tank to guage viability.

If one of the many companies I contact pan out to be able to import the tank I will let everyone know.

If they'll ship directly to you, its hard to go wrong with that.

But, if memory serves, ARB used to import the LongRanger tanks but discontinued it (liability reasons, I think). However, Man-e-fre did/does import them as well, but I think they only stock Toyota items, since you've got a jeep, you'll probably have to wait a while for it to coincide with a normal stocking order from AU.

I'm just worried about the import duties. If it really is on 2.5% that was mentioned then that is less than sales tax. But my luck, something has changed and it would be 18%

From any nation with NTR status (Australia is one of them), the import duty rate is 2.5% on all Parts and Accessories for vehicles falling under headings 8701, nesoi, and 8702 through 8705, basically all motorized vehicles.

You can search Tarriff rates on this site: http://dataweb.usitc.gov/
