It's an Orient Ray. I don't think you can get a better automatic for $100.

Interesting...will look them up. I picked up my Seiko NIB from Amazon for $129.00...retails here for about $350. Great watch, love the automatic. I split wrist time between that, my Suunto Core and my Seiko Avaitor. I used to be a stainless strap guy, now I seem to be a rubber strap guy?

My trusty Luminox I have had for a few years now has been giving me fits.
I have to use pliers to pull out the crown to set the time every month as it loses a few minutes, and the battery is only a year old as it was replaced.
And I can no longer adjust the date on it, even with pliers, it is to hard.
And today when I washed it from the gunk from the work week, the mineral crystal is all fogged up inside.

I was going to get the 3089 here which has a few extra dials, and the reviews are good for it, but the watch below kicks its *** in reviews.

But I was looking on the site where I bought my Luminox and saw a much better watch I had not heard of before, and the reviews for it at Amazon are fantastic.
The watch is much brighter than the Luminox, has a sapphire crystal which is 3x as hard as my Luminox one according to this info:

Watch will arrive tomorrow, and here is the only review I see on YouTube of it.
More $$$ than I had planned on, but my watches take a beating at work, and the Luminox has held up fine until the recent problems with it.
This should be a good watch.

PS, this watch is a little different than the one I just bought, but same features pretty much.

My watch came, I dig it.
Took it and my Luminox into a pitch black bathroom here at home and the ISObrite is indeed way more brighter.
Using the stock band for now, but may take the nice clasp one off of my Luminox and swap it over.

I tired earlier since they are both 22mm wide straps, but the old clasp one is a bit tight on the new watch.
May take it to the local jewelers who has done my battery replacements for the past ten years or so for me.
I have one of those watch band tools, but trying to put the old clasp on the new watch is very tight.
Putting the stock one back on the new one it slides in easily.

This is the most I have ever spent on a watch before, especially one that is just analog and only has a date window and no other dials.
I like them simple, and do not care for all the fancy stuff that you can get on a digital watch.

Seiko Automatic have been using one I purchased at Camp Pendleton on my way to Desert Shield/Storm
It has been to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, S. Korea, Nicaragua, Mexico, Canada, Iraq and all across the U.S.A.

Longines Hydro Conquest Automatic purchased on the way to Afghanistan (been there x2) and it is my go to for hard use.

Casio Pro Trek 110T7V PRG Titanium/Solar purchased as a backup for Afghanistan, it is light and has more bells and whistles than I really need but it is a great watch and has become a favorite

Rolex Perpetual Date Just from the wife for retirement from USMC. A bit of a safe queen, to nice for daily beatings.

Been getting a lot of compliments on my new ISObrite watch at work, especially when we go into a dark room and they can see how bright it is.
One guy has a Luminox like my old one, and of course mine is 4X as bright as his.
