Squirting tail gaiters sounds like fun. Mine has never worked. The tire now covers most of the rear window so I don't bother fixing it.

So I am thinking I will be going with a Garvin Roof Rack. They make the biggest that will fit on a XJ and I have a local supplier so no screwing with the border crap. Now I have to come up with the cash for it.

Those Garvin Wilderness racks are pretty nice, I've been wanting the smaller version for a while. I'd go with the long one but I've got a 2m mag-mount ham antenna on my roof. One of those with the hi lift and axe & shovel mounts, then maybe modify it with some jerry can holders, and you'll be in business.:wings:

So after all day Saturday and most of Sunday the switches are in and all working. This was a project that started then snow balled into fixing other issues at the same time with 4 trips to Canadian Tire .

Who makes those switches?
